Adam began his educational route towards becoming a physiotherapist in 2013 at City of Glasgow College where he gained his HND in Sports Therapy in 2015. Keen to continue his studies in this area he moved south of the border to achieve an undergraduate degree in 2017 from Teesside University, graduating with first class honours & awarded the Inaugural Middlesbrough & Teesside Philanthropic Foundation Prize for Most Innovative Research Project in the field of Sport & Exercise. Moving back home to Glasgow he completed a postgraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science & Medicine from the University of Glasgow in 2019. Finally, he reached his goal of studying Physiotherapy, completing a Masterβs at Glasgow Caledonian University from 2022 to 2024 where he graduated with Distinction.
Adam speaks highly of his physiotherapy student placement experiences in various fields in the NHS, though it was with ESP Physio he chose to undertake his elective placement. Learning greatly from the team and working well together to see huge recovery in patients, he joined the team after graduating in 2024. He has previously worked in professional and semi-professional football and had spent the past 5 years as a fitness instructor for local council gyms in between his studies.
With a passionate and extensive background in both practice and research for evidence-based interventions in clinical populations, Adam is a huge advocate of targeted exercise-based rehabilitation with a strength & conditioning focus in order to help people of all backgrounds become the best version of themselves.
