After seven fantastic years of partnership, ESP Physio and Stirling County Rugby Club will be moving in different directions with regard to physiotherapy support for the men’s and women’s First XV, as well as the wider club.
Since 2018, it has been our privilege to support Stirling County players at training sessions and matches, helping athletes perform at their best both on and off the pitch. Along the way, we’ve shared some incredible highlights — from supporting the initial set-up of the Super6 team with coach Ben Cairns and S&C coach Filippo Bertolini, to starting a women’s team clinic with Cairn and celebrating the Wolves team’s memorable Super6 League title win at Murrayfield under Eddie Pollock’s guidance and Katherine’s care.
We’d like to thank all the physiotherapists who have been part of this journey — in particular Tom Unwin, Gordon Wilkin, Andrew Lin, Olivia Ritchie, Cairn Wallace, and Katherine Halewood — for their dedication and consistently high standards of care over the years.
Although we will no longer serve as the club’s physiotherapy provider, our relationship with Stirling County remains important to us. As a gesture of thanks, all club members will continue to receive 10% off physiotherapy treatments at ESP Physio — simply mention your membership when booking.
Finally, we are pleased to confirm that we will remain based at the club for the time being. However, in the near future we will be moving into our brand-new clinic, conveniently located just a short walk away at the foot of Stirling Castle.
To the players, coaches, staff, and supporters of Stirling County Rugby Club: thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We wish you every success in the seasons ahead.
