Olivia Ritchie

Position:
Physiotherapist

I studied at Glasgow Caledonian university, qualifying in 2019 with a BSc honours degree in physiotherapy. Whilst still at university I achieved my sports first aid qualification and provided pitch side support to the women’s Canadian hockey team whilst they were on tour in Scotland. Additionally, I qualified in sports massage prior to graduating and so started working at Sattva Wellness as a massage therapist.

After graduating, I worked as a physiotherapist for both Sattva Wellness and Angus Physiotherapy. I spent some time working with the men’s Canadian hockey team whilst they were on tour in Scotland and also travelled to Croatia with the women’s Scottish hockey team.

Between 2019 and 2021 I also worked with Strathmore rugby club, providing both physiotherapy and pitch side assistance to the first XV men’s team. Through Angus physiotherapy I was involved with working at Dollar Academy, the High school of Dundee and Lathallan school, providing clinics for the staff and pupils. I have been teaching Pilates since 2020 and thoroughly enjoy this.
